Cody Johnson concluded the first night of Stagecoach with some help from his Boyz.
The country singer, 38, took the stage for his headlining set during the country music festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., on Friday, April 24.
At one point, Johnson began to sing a cover of Boyz II Men's “On Bended Knee,” before the group joined him to perform their 1994 hit song.

Johnson's performance at the annual music festival came a week after he announced he will release a new studio album, Banks of Trinity, on June 26.
"On this album, I wanted to tell the story about my childhood," the musician said in a press release about the forthcoming project.
"When I heard the song 'Banks of the Trinity' for the first time, it was like this portrait showed in my head of memories that I had honestly forgotten," he continued. "It just took me back home to Sebastopol, Texas, where I grew up on the Trinity River. I had tears in my eyes when I heard it for the first time."

Johnson also released a new single, "I Want You."
Before Banks of Trinity, Johnson released Leather and won the 2024 CMA Album of the Year. The album included hits like "'Til You Can't," "The Painter," "Dirt Cheap" and "I'm Gonna Love You" with Carrie Underwood.
The country star reminisced on past Stagecoach performances and marveled over the journey to the Mane Stage in the press release announcing his new album.

"I'll never forget the first time I got the call to play Stagecoach," he said. "We were on one of the smaller stages, and I remember wondering whether anyone would even know our songs."
"Now we're invited back to headline the Mane Stage. What a ride. I hope y'all bring the energy … because it's gonna get western," Johnson added.
In addition to Stagecoach, Johnson is currently on the road for a headlining tour that's scheduled to end in Dublin, Ireland, in November.
