Brenda Song shares that her sons aren't fans of her red-carpet looks for an adorable reason.
The Running Point actress, 38, revealed that she and Macaulay Culkin's sons don't like to see her all dressed up, but because they don't want her to leave them. The couple shares sons Dakota, 5, and Carson, whose birth was confirmed in December 2022 by his uncle, Kieran Culkin.
When they see her getting glammed up and dressing up, they say, "'No, don't leave,' " she told Entertainment Tonight.
“The moment they see me dressed up, they cry because they know we're leaving,” she said. “Otherwise, I'm in pajamas most of the time.”
She confessed that “it's so hard,” explaining that when she and Macaulay, 45, were getting ready for the Running Point season 2 premiere on April 15, they said, "'Oh, Mama, don't leave!' ”

Meanwhile, the Home Alone star opted for a simple navy blue suit and white shirt. He also wore black dress shoes and black-framed glasses, adding a pop of color with bright red nail polish.
At the Los Angeles premiere, Song spoke to PEOPLE about parenting two young boys and the hardships of traveling with children. She shared insight into the aftermath of Alaska Airlines splitting up her family, when the family's seats were given up without warning.
"Everyone is like, 'Oh, parents are always trying to take the easy way out and not picking seats together,' " she told PEOPLE. "And then when you do all the right things and things still don't go right, it's crazy. I think the hardest thing for me was them expecting my 3- and 4-year-olds to be able to sit by themselves 20 rows behind us and like with a stranger."

Song said that although “it all worked out,” it was a difficult moment because people were just doing their jobs, and everyone was trying to figure things out.
"We made it. We're all happy and healthy. We're fine," she said. "At the end of the day, [it's] a very small problem in the big scale of things."
